Transformation of Support Functions
Client: A Service Company based in UK.
Situation
Rukanya was called upon to assist the study, suggest the future model, and implement the recommendations for transforming the support functions – Technology, HR, and Finance. Rukanya led the effort for the technology function of the £2 Bn services business.
Task & Action
Rukanya’s team understood the technology function – organization, budgets, support, and services provided, business expectations, and gaps and suggested an operating model for the technology function of the services company. This is in conjunction with the other functional roadmap, namely HR & Finance.
The recommendations were accepted and this led to consolidated outsourcing of the technology operations along with shared services for Finance and HR and a very limited Business partnering organization across the functions.
